In an outrageous display of incompetence and disrespect for religious protocols, worshippers at Chamrajpet Eidgah in Bangalore were seen offering Namaz and prostrating at the feet of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. This incident, meant to symbolize mutual tolerance and brotherhood during his Eid visit, has instead become a stark example of the utter disregard for Islamic law.

Calls for Resignation: Imam Maqsood Imran Rashadi Under Fire for Protocol Breach

The responsibility to uphold the sanctity of religious practices falls squarely on the shoulders of Imam Maulana Maqsood Imran, the Muslim scholars, and the organizers of the Namaz. It was their duty to ensure that the Honourable Chief Minister, a non-Muslim, was informed about the basics of Namaz and placed comfortably away from the prostration area. The fact that neither Maulana Maqsood Imran, nor the organizers, including Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan and his aides, took these necessary steps is nothing short of a disgrace.

The CM is at not at fault as he is not aware of the basics of Namaz, rather he with all due respect stood at the place offering his esteem for the Eid prayers.

This incident is not an isolated lapse but a disturbing trend. The willingness of Muslim religious leaders to compromise on Shariah rules in an attempt to curry favor with political figures is both shameful and dangerous. Such actions not only undermine the community’s integrity but also sow seeds of division and chaos, providing ammunition for critics to denigrate the faith.

This disgraceful event highlights the peril of allowing those who are detached from religious principles to dictate mosque practices. The actions of Maulana Maqsood Imran Rashadi, who has a history of such blunders, including allowing a non-Muslim leader to lead prayers during an iftar party, are particularly egregious. His repeated failures to uphold the sanctity of Islamic practices demand severe condemnation and accountability.

Community Demands Accountability: Imam and Organizers Fail to Uphold Religious Protocols

Maulana Maqsood Imran Rashadi’s resignation is imperative. His continued presence as Khateeb and Imam of Jamia Masjid Bangalore is a stain on the religious community. The callousness exhibited by the organizers and Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan in managing the event only compounds the disgrace. Their collective failure reflects a gross negligence that cannot be ignored or excused.

*وزیر اعلیٰ کرناٹک کا نمازیوں کے اگے کھڑا ہونا؟*

چامراج پیٹ عیدگاہ بنگلور میں ریاست کرناٹک کے وزیراعلیٰ جناب سدا رامیا کا ریاست کے مسلمانوں کو عید کی مبارکباد دینے آنا آپسی روادری اور بھائی چارہ کی علامت ہے جو ریاست کے ایک ذمہ دار وزیر اعلیٰ کی حیثیت سے مناسب قدم اور قابل تعریف عمل ہے۔ مگر عین حالت نماز میں ان کا نمازیوں کی طرف منہ کرکے کھڑے ہونا اسلامی شریعت کے خلاف ناقابل قبول عمل ہے۔

اس میں وہاں موجود مسلم علماء و مفتیان شہرکی مذھبی ذمہ داری تھی کہ ان کو اس شرعی مسئلہ سے آگاہ کرتے اور نماز مکمل ہونے تک ان کو کسی دوسری جگہ ٹھہراتے کیونکہ وہ ایک غیر مسلم ہیں انھیں دین اسلام کے تعلق سے معلومات نہیں ہیں۔

مگر دیکھا یہ گیا ہے کہ سیاسی رہنماؤں کی خوشنودی حاصل کرنے کے لئے مسلم مذھبی قائد ین اکثر اوقات شریعت مطہرہ کے احکام کو پس پشت ڈال کراس کا مذاق بنادیتے ہیں۔ جس سے قوم مسلم کشمکش میں پڑ کر خود بھی گمراہ ہوتی ہے اور دوسروں کو بھی ان قائدین کے اس فعل قبیح کو دلیل وسند بناکرپیش کرتی ہےجس سے قوم کےبھولے بھالے لوگ انتشار و افتراق کا سبب بن جاتے ہیں۔
یہ سب ان دین سے دور اور مذھب بیزار، آزاد خیال لوگوں کی جانب سےمسجد درشن کا وبال ہے جو دیکھنے میں آرہا ہے اگر وقت رہتے شریعت مطہرہ کے احکام سے قوم کو آگاہ نہ کیا تو یہ الحاد وبیدینی کی ہوا آنے والی قوم مسلم کے لئےبھت بڑی بربادی کا پیش خیمہ ثابت ہو گی۔

رہامولانا مقصود عمران رشادی کا یہ عمل کوئی نیا نہیں ہے اس سے پہلے بھی رمضان المبارک میں ایک افطار پارٹی میں ایک غیر مسلم نیتا کو عین حالت نماز میں صف اول میں کھڑا کرکے نماز بھی پڑھا چکے ہیں اس وقت بھی ذمہ دار علما و مفتیان شہر نے خاموشی اختیار کی تھی کاش کہ اسی وقت تنبیہ ہوجاتی تو یہ عمل دوبارہ نہیں ہوتا۔ (اس کا کلپ آج بھی نیوز چینل پر اپلوڈ ہے)۔ اب بھی وقت ہے کہ مولانا مقصود عمران رشادی خطیب وامام جامع مسجد بنگلور اپنے اس عمل سے اپنی کم علمی کا اظہار کردیں اور آئندہ ایسا نہ کرنے کا عہد کریں اگر شریعت مطہرہ کا اتنا علم نہیں رکھتے تو انھیں مصلی امامت سے دستبردار ہو جانا چاہئے۔ تاکہ جو اس کا شرعاً مستحق ہے اس کو اس کا حق دیا جاسکے۔
