Muslim Bandhavya Vedike Delegation Meets Chief Minister, Presents 27-Point Communal Harmony Plan


Bengaluru – The Karnataka chapter of the Muslim Bandhavya Vedike today met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at Vidhana Soudha, presenting a 27-point action plan aimed at fostering communal harmony across the state. The delegation emphasized the need for strong government policies to curb any attempts at disturbing interfaith unity, stating that creating unrest among communities is the true act of treason.

The Vedike strongly urged the government to adopt a zero-tolerance policy towards individuals or groups inciting communal discord for political, social, or religious reasons. They called for stringent measures against those responsible, without any discrimination based on caste, religion, or language.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, after carefully reviewing the Vedike’s ongoing initiatives to promote peace and inclusivity, expressed his appreciation for their efforts. He assured the delegation that the government would seriously consider implementing their recommendations to uphold communal harmony and safeguard Karnataka’s rich cultural and social fabric.
